This is a gorgeous Chanel belt from 1993, It is the quintessential 90s iconic belt and was photographed on Kate Moss amongst others

It is one of my favorite belts which sadly does not fit me!

The belt itself is 2.25 inches wide and the buckle measures 3 x 2.25 inches. The length of the belt from end to end is 33 inches but it will best fit waist sizes up to 28 inches as it closes by hooks so it can be adjusted to any waist under 28 inches

The belt has a large buckle and a thin gold prong for closure. As this is a chain belt there are no buckle holes so you simply push the prong wherever works for you. When I first got his belt it felt a little odd doing this but that is the way it seems to work best

5 strands of gold chain which have been threaded with the traditional leather – this is a structured chain so the belt is wide

From this there are 3 looping chains that connect with hooks – please note that the hooks are crooked, you can see this in the photos

The belt is in very good vintage condition however as mentioned the fastening hooks are crooked

There is no Chanel date stamp on this belt but vintage Chanel aficionados will immediately recognize it as an authentic vintage Chanel from not only the design, quality, weight and workmanship – it is a heavy belt and weighs approx 2.5 lbs
