It is from the Spring Summer 2006 collection and this jacket was profiled in both the Valentino ad for the summer collection as well as been shown on the runway It is a beautiful shade of turquoise or azure blue silk with light pink ruffled cuffs at the sleeve. It is embroidered and beaded all over with exquisite details, please refer to the many photos as I cannot do justice to it here I believe that it is 100% silk but as unfortunately both the Valentino label and the fabric content label have been removed so I am guessing that the fabrication is silk It is fully lined in turquoise silk I do have the Valentino store receipt for this jacket showing a price of $8,900 + tax.  I will ship a copy of it with the jacket but of course I will delete my clients name (I have not shown the photograph of it because her name is on it). Size 6.  Measurements in inches when measured lying face down are: Sh = 14.25, B = 34 +,  W = 30, L = 19.5, Sl = 23.5 This is a truly stunning and timeless jacket that you will enjoy for years to come The jacket is in overall excellent condition as it was worn only once or twice.  As with all beaded garments there is some inevitable bead loss but the workmanship is so intricate and dense that I had to look really hard before I noticed where the beads are missing.   There are a couple of areas along the edges where there are there is minor bead loss.  On one side it actually looks like it may have been designed like this!  I have photographed these areas to show you (look at the last 2 photos in particular) but as I say the overall impression is that it is in very good condition.  While I was scrutinizing it I noticed that along the back seam there are a couple of tiny white spots which I believe are actually in the fabric but should be mentioned nonetheless, again these are not visible unless you are looking for them and didn’t show up in the photos To learn more about B.Swank/Lucyann Barry Luxury Resale please review my website for editorial coverage from The New York Times, Harpers Bazaar, ABC World News, The Today Show, The FT and several others.
